How does it work?
A simple case study

Case study : We are affiliates of Amazon.com and would like to sell cameras. We promote and sell these cameras though our website. In order to drive traffic to our website we made a short video clip about our company and some of the products we are selling and posted it on Youtube. We want to target people that will most likely watch our video and buy cameras. (Whether you are a band that wants to push views on your music video or a non-profit organisation that wants to create awareness around a certain subject, the same applies.)

 

Please take note : Youtube users appear as 'channels' on Youtube. So in this case, channels are exactly the same as contacts or friends. You can interact with channels (users of Youtube) - send them messages, links, subscribe to them, comment on their videos etc. Please do not get confused by the different terms. Viralnest Youtube Marketer makes use of channels to increase traffic to your videos.

 

1. Build a channel/"contacts" list   This will be the starting point for most people. You will need to build lists of channels that are relevant to what it is you are trying to promote and to make use of the functions in our software. Viralnest Youtube software can automatically "grab" channels/"contacts" from pages on Youtube. Everytime someone leaves a comment they also leave the address to their channel.

NOTE : Channels/"contacts" can be obtained from anywhere on the Youtube website. Whether it is from a search, a video or someone else's subscribers. Use Viralnest Youtube Marketer's built in browser to search for results or to navigate to a video's page or a channel's subscribers. Once you have landed on the desired page you can click on FIND VIEWERS/VIDEOS. This will pull the contacts into your list. There is no limit on how many results you can pull!

You must make sure you target the right video (the right target market) to build your list from. For example, if you want to promote your rock and roll band's music video you will not get very far by promoting it to people that watched a DIY video on carving pencils from wood. I will now explain how to grab relevant channels and how to market your video's to that specific list of people.

 

STEPS

1. Startup Viralnest Youtube Marketer and login with your Youtube account username and password.
2. Navigate to a video that deals with cameras and has a lot of comments - the amount of comments roughly equates to the amount of people you will be able to put into your list. A review video of some sort might work well. If people watch a review video they are probably in the market to buy a camera.

2. Promote your video and see your views grow!   Now for the fun part. All that is left for you to do now is to promote your video to a list of contacts and see the views climb! You can easily change the way the program interacts with Youtube.
